Chemical Peel
Chem-exfoliation or derma peeling,
popularly known as chemical peeling enhances the texture and appearance of the
skin. The upper layers of the skin are made of dead and dry cells that make the
skin look dull, old and dry. By peeling off the upper few layers of the skin
and revealing the inner, healthy layers, it is possible to make the skin glow
and look younger and moisturized. Using chemicals for chemical peeling, the
skin is made to peel off, revealing newer, smoother and healthier skin. In
chemical peeling, the skin is cleansed and excess oil is removed. Using
chemical lotions, certain areas of the skin are peeled off and new skin is
allowed to regenerate. This method is often preferred to get rid of marks and
scars to avoid invasive surgeries.
